Zambia - Day 2

Team Zambia 2018- Day 2

Quotable Quotes from Team Members:

Regarding Mission VBS

“ I saw lots of kids with tremendous joy on their faces who didn’t seem to be bothered by their circumstances. And many of them were orphans!” Don MacDiarmid

“I was so surprised at how eager these kids are to participate in the singing and how quickly they jumped in. Greg Davis

“When you look at what these children have (or don’t have) and then hear them sing it’s amazing the joy they have on their faces.” Kay Flores

“When I saw Mike Lakomowski carrying the orphan child with no legs it made me want to cry.”
Matthews (Our Bus Driver)

Regarding Hut to Hut Evangelism

“We had barely walked three blocks from our bus when we shared the gospel and the first person we talked to said: “What can I do?” and she ended up praying to trust Jesus with us.”
Ashley Lakomowski

“We walked up to a lady in the compound and let her know that we were there to talk to people about God. She immediately motioned for another lady to cross the road and join us. After sharing the gospel the first lady gave a clear salvation testimony but looked at her friend who then prayed to receive Christ. We were able to let her know that she had led her friend to Christ by inviting her over to hear the gospel. They have both committed to attend the new church on Sunday.”  It was awesome to look over and see my brother on his knees sharing the gospel by drawing in the dirt!
Donnie Anthony

“Thank you for coming all the way to Zambia to lead people to Jesus. 106 people die in our city every day- most without knowing Jesus. Knowing that 10 people came to Christ today is not only a blessing but it is helping us reach our goal of 2,700 new churches in Lusaka.
Randy Windham, International Mission Board Missionary, City Director

P.S.  Just in case you are wondering if our team is working hard, here's a few shots of them on the way home this evening...
