First Day for Team Zambia 2018
African Church- There’s nothing quite like it.
Today the team attended church at Lusaka Bible Church which
is the church that is sponsoring the new church our team will plant this week.
Though we met in a very meager setting the people were exploding
with joy. There was singing and dancing and laughter and the word of God was
received with enthusiasm.
Here are a few comments from team members regarding how
moving it was so see this vibrant fellowship:
Blake Anthony: “It was remarkable to see the depth of love
and appreciation these people have for
each other and for the gift of salvation. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Mike Lakomowski: “I was amazed to see people walking to
church…some of them from far away. We have it so easy- we all have cars and yet
we find the smallest excuses to miss Sunday worship.
Jessica Weinheimer: “I heard a four year old quote scripture
today with more passion than most preachers.”
Lee Gallegos: “It was so humbling to stand before such fired
up people to teach them about
prayer. I will never forget this experience.
