Team Zambia 2018- Day 4

Team Zambia 2018- Day 4

Quotable Quotes:

CHASING US DOWN TO HEAR THE GOSPEL
“Our time to be back at the bus had passed. We finished up and were rushing back to home base when suddenly a lady came running up behind us and said: ‘I want to hear the story you have been telling- can you share it with me?’ We actually had to stop and make an appointment for the next day.”  Krista Tope and Annalyn Flores

ANNALYN PREACHES THE GOSPEL
“During training for our mission trip we all wrote our salvation stories and were told that at any time during the trip we might be put on the spot to share it. Well…today was my day. I was so nervous at first but then I just told the kids how Jesus changed my life and really, it was fun! Until I saw my mom at the back of the crowd crying. Of course, I cried too! Annalyn Flores

INTOXICATED MAN FACES SOBERING REALITY
“As we were sharing the gospel in the compound, a man approached us who was heavily intoxicated. He was definitely being used by Satan as a distraction as he came and sat down right between me and the lady I was sharing the gospel with. Honestly, it made me angry but I did my best to ignore him. Today, as we were sharing the gospel he showed up and said to me: ‘I wanted to apologize for my behavior yesterday.’ He was trying to hide a beer at his side but was much less inebriated than before. I shared the gospel with him and he prayed to receive Jesus. What a joy it was to see the change in his countenance.” Lee Gallegos

FIRST TIME TO EVER SHARE JESUS- IN AFRICA!
“I love Jesus with all my heart, but before this trip, I was not sure how to sit down with someone and share the gospel in a way that they could actually pray to receive Jesus. Today, I did that for the very first time and it was on the continent of Africa. And the very first one I ever shared with said “yes” and prayed to trust Jesus as Savior. I am just getting started and cannot wait to share Jesus again tomorrow.” Ashley Lakomowski

A SPECIAL THANKS FROM PASTOR JOSEF- LUSAKA BIBLE CHURCH
"
Pastor Randy, Makeni Villa is set ablaze with the gospel. We had an overwhelming response. The Lord Jesus Christ Has opened the way for His Word to reach His people. The people who accompanied the team have been blessed with the selfless, openness and zeal of the team, and those that received the gospel have been blessed with the clarity and simplicity of the presentation of the gospel. The police gave us permission even when it was supposed to be done one week ago. ALL WORKING BY DIVINE APPOINTMENT. Not to mention the trophies of grace, souls got saved, 13, I received, I didn't receive all: this crowned it all. More than a hundred children for VBS. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for a great connection in
 Pastor Donnie and the team:
THEY ARE GOD'S GIFT TO ZAMBIA."

PRAYER REQUESTS

GREG DAVIS- Greg woke up this morning with an inflamed throat and had to be taken to a local clinic. He got some meds and stayed home in bed today. Join us in praying for an immediate recovery.

JESSICA WEINHEIMER- Jessica is suffering from a severe head cold. Pray for the congestion to subside and for much needed rest.

SALVATION FOR YOUNG MEN- Pray for Jimmy, Junior and Robert who came back today to talk more about the gospel. They are beginning to understand but still have a lot of confusion and questions. Pray that they will understand the gospel and be able to say Yes to Jesus.

PRAY AGAINST FATIGUE- Our team has been fearless and served tirelessly but the days are long and sleep can be short and we are at midweek. Pray for rest and energy.
